Graduating in 97 from Greensburg, IN, I went to basic training immediately after. When I came back I served in the Army Reserves and lived a gypsy life. After returning and working in a factory, I wanted more and was unhappy. Then I moved to Cincinnati and became a dancer and signed with modeling agencies. I continued on with my travels, Vegas, LA, and Texas just to name a few until in 2009 where the party lifestyle caught up with me.
I found Christ at a biker church and was soon baptized after where I gave myself a new beginning. I graduated from Paul Mitchell Hair School , but I didn't have a support system, made minimum wage and the pressure of trying to build my clientele was too much. I then found myself homeless after evection and hit hard times again.
So after a lot of prayer I envisioned my next dream to chase. I had always been a biker with my Harley Davidson my preferred method of transportation and sometimes my only ( along with a bag of clothes ). From my entertainment history I had experience eating fire which I decided to continue into clubs and parties as "Torch". I created a biker themed Rock & Roll fire show where I booked motorcycle events all over the country. I was on Full Throttle Saloon on tru tv, Easy Riders Magazine and had a viral video the flame thrower and the hornets nest. In 2014, I met my wife Heather at Ohio Bike Week and she became part of the show as well. Together we built the show up into a full production show and moved to Florida, followed by Nashville, TN.
Wanting a family and career we decided to put down some roots in Knoxville, TN in 2020 where we bought our first home and I was hired for the fire department. Only 8 weeks after completing EMT school the lockdowns hit for COVID. The academy was now a 20 week course instead of 10 , and after we completed we were told that the positions that they offered us were no longer available. Everyone did " graduate", but we were reserves and given EMT positions instead with minimal EMT pay.
The very next day, my wife Heather told me we were expecting our first child. We decided to move back to my roots in Indiana to raise the baby with friends and family. I was too old to become a firefighter in Indiana, so I decided my own demolition business. Then 13 months after our first child, our second little blessing was born. Demolition has been somewhat of a success, but its extremely hard on my body. I was praying for a new path again for direction when I saw his sign. I was in the back yard watching our beautiful little girls taking their plastic shovels and scooping up the poo from our new puppy and older dog and throwing it over the fence on their own doing. I thought it was hilarious and ordered a little pooper scooper for them, but I just couldn't get the idea out of my head. I decided to go with it and created a name coming from the a military background with our 2 handsome Aussie's as the cartoon models. Scoopin' Troops was Born!
